2024-2025 National Theme and Project
Emerson Sites-Byers, National President
Mr. Jeffrey R. Voris, Senior National President
The 2024-2025 National Project will support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a veteran owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides mortgage-free Smart Homes to fallen first-responder and Gold Star families with children. Tunnel to Towers also focuses on eradicating veteran homelessness.
Tunnel to Towers Foundation was founded by Frank Siller and his family after Frank’s brother, Stephen, an FDNY firefighter, lost his life at the World Trade Center (WTC). Stephen was just getting off his shift when he saw the planes hit the towers. He drove his personal pick-up truck with his gear and ran through the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel, leading to the WTC.
This year's National Theme is Courage, Service, Honor. These three words are the foundations of being a member of C.A.R. and a great citizen of the United States. Living by Courage, Service, Honor promotes leadership and love of the heritage of the U.S.A. First Responders exhibit these qualities every day and are deserving of our support.
